We, CNA-Q students signing below, request that our final exams remain online for this semester.
The main reason for our request is because of serious fears for our families and loved ones in this pandemic. Many positive cases for COVID-19 are asymptomatic ( they are showing no symptoms.), and we fear we would infect our families with the virus. Especially, since the majority of our loved ones are elderly and are inflicted with chronic disease. The great majority, if not all of COVID-19 Fatalities are joined with chronic disease.

I don’t want to take this risk again, I did the midterm for the consumer behavior and there was some cases with me at the campus and I got quarantined and I put my family at risk and stress and my father have chronic disease and I don’t want him to get infected.
as long as courses started and has been teach online it had to end on the same way. What’s the point for taking risk when we can do it online opening cameras and instructors can watch us ! Please reconsider the decision
In my opinion, the exams should be held online because we were taught online in this semester. Moreover, we were told the exams would be open book so we have prepared ourselves accordingly. Having exams on campus is just an unfair move.
I am sure that I am speaking on behalf of all CNAQ students that I do not feel safe on campus, I cannot be risking getting COVID and my parents suffering because of it. If there was no other solution I’d understand, but online classes and exams are available and very efficient.
It’s too dangerous on our families. Around 500 students will be roaming around campus. Someone will be bound to get Covid. Plus, that will cause many people to quarantined. As a result, we won’t get to enjoy our vacation.

I agree with the petition to have the exams for the finals online due to a risky situation we are in right now, there were cases wherein a lot of people got positive in a class which was inside the campus and with that being alerted. I am willing to have the final exams online.
