The cemetery board decided that Ella’s gravesite will remain exactly as it is. I am completely overwhelmed by how many of you stood by this family to protect her memory. Please take a moment to be proud because this happened only because you chose to care.

Ella was such a fun, charismatic, colorful little girl. This family has been through enough. We are asking the Highland Cemetery Board to please reconsider making the Fuller family tear down her beautiful gravesite. This has been a place that Ella' entire family and friends can visit and feel comforted in knowing that everything about the site, is who Ella was.

Seeing the count climb toward one thousand is honestly overwhelming because I never imagined so many people would care about Ella. If you have a moment today please help us push through this milestone so the Board understands how much this means to us. This momentum is entirely because of your kindness and I am just humbled to be part of it.

What is wrong with this world...we cant even grieve for our children they way we want? I have lost a child and when I see the people that mow the cemetery knock things down, it enrages me...please let them keep the memory alive.

I am so sorry this is taking place in our community, and I am beyond saddened that this is happening to you and your family. Your daughter deserves to have a playground around her and you deserve to have a place where you can spend time with her. You are in my prayers.

Amiyah is 7 yrs old and I spoke to her about this and it saddens her. She said if I have to go to heaven, Nan will you make my way to heaven purple, like all purple colors. So sorry Trevor this is the last thing should have to deal with.

Rules are important in general but keeping our humanity and the point in mind when implementing them is more important. Remember hiding Anne Frank was against the rules but was the right thing to do. Please do the right thing for this family.

Very sad.. grieving is the hardest thing you will ever do. If this helps her family and classmates remember Ella and the happy times what is the harm. If maintenance on the grave is the issue I'd be happy to volunteer to maintain it! ❤
