I can definitely tell you I have considered every word you say but in the long run it doesn't matter because the decision is final and Mr. S is leaving.

Trust me I have had many moments where I try to consider his feelings but his actions usually defeat those thoughts. Saying they are describing him as Satan is over the top. But all I'm saying is that Mr. S could have kept his job if he wasn't such a jerk to us. I know how you feel because remember the choir teacher we had for one year? I really liked her but enough people complained about her to get her fired and now we have an AMAZING teacher who I have not heard ONE complaint about. I'm sorry your coach still has his job because it isn't fair. To be a teacher or a director or a coach you have to be able to work with people and it sucks when people like your coach and Mr. S can barely do their job in that aspect.

Lol. Clearly. But in the end does my opinion matter?

I'm only trying to protect Mr.S because he appears to be the one being bullied. Let's not forget that Mr.S is a person who also has feelings which should be brought into account when we argue whether or not he should keep his job. Or how about my feelings, even though they no longer matter really, I think he is great yet this Anon considers him equal to Satan. I could come up with just as many reasons as you for why he should stay. The funny part is my Coach is a million times worse than Mr.S yet he keeps his job. People in phil sometimes sound a little ungrateful.

No one ever said to just take it. I never would and I refuse to believe this "truth" because I find it hard to believe that's what it is. I don't know these people. I have no problems with Mr.S. Contrary to what some think he has taught us. I believe he is a nice guy and how he could bully you is beyond me. I remember when he first came here and this one person was a complete jerk to him and he had no idea what to do. It was kind of funny but it kept going on until they talked and everything was figured out which is something I doubt could ever happen in phil because you sound very stubborn in your mission to hate.

Trust me I wish it was better too but it's how it is. You don't have any right to downplay the way Mr. S has treated some of his students. You're in no position to be insensitive to others opinions and feelings and neither is Mr. S. Obviously enough people went to the board about Mr. S and you are as much of a bully as Mr. S to say that their reasons aren't reasons enough. Extremely talented musicians have quit orchestra because of him and you have no right to dictate what's a good enough excuse because any excuse is good enough when people's feelings are involved. People aren't trying to get him fired because they are messin around as a troll. They want him fired because they want their orchestra experience the best it can be and because they deserve it.

Then I wish her description painted a prettier picture. Even with all the trash AA has to say there isn't much reason to fire Mr.S. The first four examples are basically all the same and just saying I don't like how he treats us. Being hard on someone doesn't mean he is a bully. Crying because he calls out your mistakes or picks on the leader of the section. How do you get better if you don't know your mistakes, and if you hate being the leader then request not to be. Sounds like he is trying to help to me. If it actually was his fault then why didn't you say so. I'm certain if the whole orchestra agreed that it was him he would listen. A lot of the problems you have are pretty small especially when your performances are fine. Sorry you didn't like the music you played because I did. Acting like you never learned anything from him is pretty inconsiderate. Also a friendly reminder that you didn't have to join phil or chamber.

His first year may have not been fantastic but everyone needs time to adjust to a new environment, and through friends I still know in high school he has been pretty great so far so there is no reason for a great teacher to be forced to quit.

Obviously you have never actually studied with a decent teacher because then you would know BHS can do much better than Mr. S. And just because there are teachers that practically bully their students doesn't mean we should just take it. Of course people who have been hurt, bullied, and victimized by Mr. S are going to tell somebody. I'm blown away that you refuse to believe the truth about Mr. S and the proof behind it.

Speaking as someone in Phil and Chamber, I can say that Anonymous Amphibians description is pretty much spot on.

What class are you in? Hell 2.0. Interesting how your experience is completely different from many others. I wont lie and say that none of the stuff you stated doesn't happen, but how can you take it so harshly? You exaggerate way to much. His conducting is not as trash as you say, and how can you speak for all the students when it sounds more like a personal problem? I must have forgotten when Mr.S started growing horns and carrying a pitchfork. You should think about joining symphony because it is a hundred times better, or maybe not since it won't be the same with him gone.

I love Mr. S as our teacher. I think he gives us a lot of great advice for playing and is also an overall great teacher.

PLEASE DO NOT SIGN THIS! This petition does not provide any facts or evidence of things he has done ‘well’. I have listed 6 examples with evidence proving otherwise. These are just a few pieces of evidence and facts that I have either witnessed happening, or experienced myself. Example 1. He does not respect us, he treats us poorly, and has stated to our faces "I do not care what you think". No student deserves to be treated this way. Example 2. The morale of the students is low. I do not want to go to orchestra class any more. Last year, students waited outside the door before class. Another teacher saw the crowd and assumed the door was locked. It was not locked- the class simply did not want to go in. Example 3. You say he is trying to push us and motivate us, but I have never felt less motivated in my life. I do not want to participate in orchestra any longer and have considered quitting. I don’t know how I have lasted this long. I have never been more embarrassed to say “I am a member of a BHS orchestra”. It used to be an honor to say this, but now it makes me sick. Example 4. You stated "If he was a bad teacher, it would be obvious". Let me tell you: It couldn't be more crystal clear. He doesn’t care what we think, he can’t teach or conduct, and he can’t communicate efficiently. He often messes up with his conducting and blames us for getting off beat. Or, he’ll say a section slowed down or sped up. Sure, it happens occasionally, but typically it’s his own fault. He can't play an instrument well. He often messes up or has horrible intonation when playing a part for us. He is also just plain rude. He will insult you to your face, and does not care about your opinions. I have seen him call students out in front of the entire class because they made a mistake. He picks on students, especially section leaders. This classifies him as a bully. To be clear, the definition of ‘bully’ is: “a person who uses strength or power to harm or intimidate those who

Mr. S is a great teacher and he has a good heart. He is a wonderful, caring man and I'm not sure how much more you can want from a teacher.
