Petition to have City of Milton take Responsibility of Clearing Snow Windrows or Preventing their Formation

I second this petition. Please do the needful to make our lives better in Milton.

I have to inform the concerned that snow ploughing people does not remove the snow properly on the residential roads. It's the 3rd time noticed that they just remove from one side of the road. What about the other side of the road? The road is narrowed for driving n if a car is parked on the road, it's hard to remove the car from Garage because there is no space to turn. And when the plough blocks the driveway with that heavy wet Snow, it's impossible to get out even after it's shoveled as it's jammed on the ground. Please clear both sides of the roads for sake of safety. I just don't get it why only one side of the road is cleared leaving the opposite residents .

I agree. City should come ip with better plan to plow snow and not dump on our driveway..

I recently had to rush somewhere urgently and as soon as I stepped out, saw a big boulder of snow piled up in the driveway. Had to spend at least 15 mins to make the road accessible.

We live beside round circle and always snow truck block our driveway with pileup snow.

I request city to take immediate action to address this issue. City must educate snow plow companies and drivers not to pileup huge load of snow front of driver way. There are many ways to address this issue. 4 to 5 ft pileup snow front of driveway may cause some serious consequences if someone has any medical emergency.

Remove the snow

The town is collecting enough taxes. It should be cleaning the roads properly

Snow after being ploughed is 4 - 5 feet tall and blocks the driveway, which is a serious health and safety concern for the property's residents in case immediate access is required to the roads for an emergency. Shovelling this hard and dense snow takes a long time (1-2 hours), and not getting access to the roads could be fatal in an emergency.

Snow clearing ploughed our street 24 hrs(March 4th midnight) after the snow fall and blocked our driveway with 4 foot packed snow They did it again on March 5 th.

After paying hundreds of dollars/ putting hours together to clean the driveway.. Just coming and throwing all the snow from the road to the driver way is rediculous and not reasonable

I request city to remove snow-windrows, the truck is piling up around 4ft of snow in the front of our house. It is very hard to remove the windows as it is more harder than the driveways snow.

The windrows are a nuisance. I spend hours shovelling my walkway and driveway at night to be able to head out to work first thing in the morning. Imagine my dismay when I head out at 6am and see a 3ft pile of snow blocking my driveway and waiting to be reshovelled. This is very unfair to a taxpayer

I would like to see a mechanism where Windrow are cleared during plowing.

Leaving no room between houses and expecting home owner to remove snow and throw were if you are getting g snow on city property they should be able to take care of it, same way I canot put snow on neighbors land.
