Petition to have City of Milton take Responsibility of Clearing Snow Windrows or Preventing their Formation

They delayed me 1 hour to go to my work

We need Milton city to stop the snow power contractor to stop dropping the snow in our driveway

I strongly support this petition.

This is too much, why residents are responsible to clear snow which came as a result of snow plow. Where our tax money works ?

It’s hard to deal with the mess that snow ploughed create blocking driveways

City snow plowing service is blocking the drive ways with very hard snow piles in the process of clearing the roads.

Roads are not cleaned when it snows. Snow is piled up making hard to drive vehicles. The snow vehicles are not effective in cleaning the road. They end up throwing additional snow on the roads

As of resident when heavy snow happens we are trying to clear sow from our driveway and we are so tired and happy to finished the job, noticing city snow removal trucks bring a heave pile of snow and push towards front of driveway,each time I have to remove the extra snow pile which is in front of my driveway, each time I hurt my back and one or two weeks takes to recover and can’t work after that.

There should be a way to decrease it. Other cities too have windrows but they are not huge and we can understand they are unavoidable, but if you make a windrow more than 2 feet high, town should be responsible to clean it. The change of moldboards ( snow blades) in those cities differ from what we have here in most cases will make a difference.

Worst snow clearing operation I've seen in almost 30 yrs and across 5 different cities. Horrific town management, regretting buying here.

My mother depends on Personal care support and she didn’t get support whole day because her driveway was blocked with big snow pile

This is a serious concern for the residents of Milton. The snow ploughing people cannot just push the pile of snow to the driveway without any sense

Kindly remove windorows I was blocked out of my driveway after I had already shoveled twice

Snow windrows from end of our drive should be removed by the city vehicles.

Please use tax payer’s money wisely
