Prices are becomig so ridiculous. We need a new Gas and Electric company that cares about us, not these price gougingers.

The charges for gas and electricity in Ma are out of control. They are the result of well meaning but clueless environmental activists. The MA goal of being carbon free for all energy by 2050 is both unrealistic and a killer for users which doesn't seem to be of concern by Ma legislators. If something is not done to significantly lower our utility costs we will take it out on our elected officials in future elections.

My delivery charge more than doubled in one month. My gas usage was not the issue its the delivery charges. I didn't use anymore gas than the month before. Delivery charge is way too high.

Just installed a heat pump through Mass Save program. Did it to save on energy bills oil. First month I ran the mini splits for 2 weeks—bill was 418 dollars. I was shocked. I cut down on usage and never ran more than 50 % of my mini splits—I also supplemented with my wood stove for 14 days. This last month I am looking at a $1000 bill!!!! Why is my wood stove 5 times more cost effective than a $30k heat pump system. My house is only 1500 square feet—I’m demanding an uninstall and my money back. I would be happy to share my story more broadly I have all the documents to prove it.

My bill has crept up way beyond the mandated 20% - 30% increases. Upon review, billable amounts are 70% - 80% higher than last year for both supply and delivery on a similar usage profile.

Even with help from the Fuel Assistance program I can barely afford to pay these electric bills. I rent and cannot do anything to force the landlord to insulate these apartments in this complex better. This landlord, who is relatively new, only seems to care about his money- raising rents every year without improving anything. Meanwhile electricity rates are soaring, and these apartments are all electric. I refuse to be cold in the winter, and will eventually not be able to pay the bills!

The delivery charge has tripled. By any measure, that is Grossly excessive.
