My 80 year old grandmothers bill is so outrageous, she's paying 400+ for electricity sometimes when we use candles and a stove to try to save and never even have the tv on. Even when doing the math of things that is used throughout the month it should never add up to what we have to pay. It fluctuates so incredibly sometimes that I feel someone is messing with her because she's older and they can take advantage of her by up-charging her whenever they want. It causes our whole family great stress because we're doing everything we can to help her pay for it and keep the cost down but to no avail.

This is ridiculous. Eversource bills have become unaffordable to all residents. Something needs to change! The economy is bad enough as is… the people shouldn’t have to worry about making a decision as to whether they should pay rent, feed their families, or pay their utilities.

It’s absurd that Mass. Attorney General wasn’t involved in this before these increases occurred.. When Maura Healy was AG she always was involved. I know as governor she has now stepped forward. Let’s hope for a resolution to this crisis!
