Why is Natural Gas throughout the country pretty much the same price but yet the Cost of Delivery flowing through the pipes are different in each state. Politicians !! In Massachusetts we have one company controlling the Delivery called Eversource. All the years with Bay State Gas , then Columbia Gas , people had no problem with Delivery. But now with Eversource and our Governor, people are paying double for Delivery for the same gas flowing in those pipes. If you can switch gas companies, the Delivery is still controlled by one company Eversource. That’s called a Monopoly.
