This is absurd. They are releasing a convicted murderer suspected of additional violent crimes. How could this have happened? Releasing this man puts the lives of innocent and unsuspecting people at risk. He violently raped and tortured this woman before taking her life and is being released after only serving 17 years. This after continuing to live amongst us freely for 10 years before having to answer for his crime. Justice has NOT been served.

This man committed a horrendous crime and was found guilty. It's a slap in the face of the Louisiana citizenry to let him out so early. And to NOT properly inform the victim's family is a dirty shame.

This man hasn't served the 85% of his sentence that is standard in a reduced sentence plea bargain. If he has truly change that is great but there are still consequences of our actions, even actions we regret and are truly sorry for. Please do not grant this man parole at this time.

He committed a heinous crime. He should not be allowed to request parole until he has served 85% of his sentence as was expected when he was allowed to plead guilty to reduced charges. Just because he has allegedly "changed" doesnt mean he should be released. There are consequences for every bad action . Changing for the better doesn't erase those consequences. By rewarding him for his "good" behavior, you cheapen the value of his victim's life and premature death. Letting him go free after serving just 17 years for his horrific crime is NOT justice for the victim's family.
