I have enjoyed Doug Kershaw's music my entire life. He is a hometown boy. He has dedicated his life to sharing his music and entertaining his fans with country music as well as Cajon music. He deserves to be be in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Doug Kershaw should be considered and nominated to be inducted in the Country Music Hall of Fame , and to be considered for a life time achievement award!

Doug is truly one of a kind. I remember driving by the Palomino Club in North Hollywood as a kid with my parents seeing his name on the sign...
Can't wait to see him perform at the Simi Valley Cajun and Blues Festival on May 27th.....

Doug (and his brother, Rusty) brought Cajun music to the mainstream almost 60 years ago and left a legacy that has influenced the last two generations! He deserves his place in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Douglas James Kershaw is the greatest musician ever! Folks think of him as just a fiddle or accordion player. If you look on the back of the 1976 album, "Doug Kershaw Rabin Cajun", you see that he is credited with playing all instruments on the cut "Mon Chapeau"...and it is GREAT! It was played, sung and mixed perfectly. I think I remember reading once that he can play as many as 26 different instruments. WOW!
He is also a prolific song writer having written countless songs, several if which have charted on both pop and country charts.
It would be a tragedy to NOT induct Mr. Kershaw into the country music hall of fame.
