Its about time!! I feel Doug Kershaw (aka my grandpa) should've been inducted a long time ago, due simple to his influence on country music and all other genres alike, his impression on the history of music is profound, he took cajun music down the the path of country greatness and paved the way for artists and the music its self long after his days at the top of the charts, he is definitely one of the few exclusive people responsible for making Cajun cool!!!
