VCU's slogan to Make it Real won't be a reality if students have can't afford their education. As much as VCU can be a great school, it's understaffed or staffing undeserving professors. Remodel the foundation that you so lavishly model to incoming freshman by actually IMPROVING THE EDUCATION. We're not here for a buffet hall with critters in the salad bar or your glass library- we're here for a good education. Increasing tuition will turn away those who are in need of good education and those who can prosper and give back the most.
This tuition hike is not NECESSARY- it's an ACCESSORY. Please listen to the needs of your student body. We are the majority, we deserve a voice.

VCU is very loved school by its students and alumni. As one of the largest schools in Virginia, please don't hike up our tuition when more then enough students already come to this school to fill the needs of the salaries of the teachers and administrators. My college is paid for by my mother and I and it would significantly hurt us greatly if we had to pay more in tuition. Not to mention livening expenses in richmond are high as well.

Don't you all think Tuition at VCU is high enough? The price to attend VCU is already outrageous that's ridiculous. No way it needs to go up anymore.

Instead of paying administrators more, they should hire more criminal justice/forensics instructors. When your major courses are taught by 2 working professors and all your classes start after 6:00pm in the evening (if you are lucky enough to register early enough to get in one of them).

It's clear that VCU has no intention to raise teacher or non-admin faculty pay, which is really taking the piss since VCU's admins are already paid well above VA's average.

I'm all for the cap on administrator salaries. Ditto fair treatment of aduncts (higher wages and benefits). Many full time instructors don't make a lot either compared to other universities. The notion of a 5.3% hike in tuition and a 3% hike in administrator salaries is offensive.

VCU already has the highest tuition for a public school in Virginia why does it need to be higher.

I can not afford tuition if it increases $700. I came to VCU because it was an affordable option for my family
