The teachers are what make vcu great. They deserve to be treated with the respect and compensation that reflects all that they do for students and the university. There would be no VCU without great professors.

As a student who pays for her own classes and doesn't have any financial aid, this tuition raise would be ruining my chance at finishing my college education

Goes to show where our money goes. If VCU does this, it shows that the money we pay to attend does nothing for our education. If we're paying for schooling, the money should go towards the students. Just a thought

The Student Media Center on Broad? Lots of expensive gear for the grabs. I'm still waiting to watch some worthwhile content from there though. (other than Ink Magazine, literary publications and the CT.)

VCU does not get that not everyone that goes here can afford this. I am paying for my own education and I am already over what I can afford. I might have to transfer to another school next year.

The adjunct and part time faculty is a serious issue my favorite professor can't even afford to teach the best class in the world because they refuse to pay her for the extra work of taking on a class since she Jos an adjunct professor and technically works in the deans office

It's already too expensive for out of state students. Plus if the cost gets any higher, arts students wont come here bc its the best and cheapest school with one of the best arts program.
