Our town does not have the resources for 150 new families. We need a bigger school and childcare available BEFORE the community grows

The community needs more businesses. A much bigger day care and a bigger school. Restaurants would be awesome.

This proposal is not in the long term interests of St Adolphe and not what the developer proposed originally. It should not be approved.

Rezoning will allow developers to make money and take away space from our community. St Adolphe does not need more city like high density housing.

We need to get the word out to friends and neighbours. The intent of the developer is to allow 3 storey rental apartments now and in the future, as they see fit, to be built in Tourond Creek. People can sign this petition as well as hard copy petitions that are available at the St Adolphe Hotel, and on the bulletin board at the Caisse. With this petition and the hard copy petitions we are well over 250 signing against this amendment proposal. First reading is Monday at 5 at the Council office any body who would like to see how this is being handled should drop in and lend their physical support. There will be a public hearing and that is the meeting that everyone needs to come to. Bodies will make a difference the more that show up the more they will listen.

The land was originally zoned that way for good reasons! This town needs business space!

I am against rezoning for multi family housing. Longer term this space will be key to the growth and support of our expanding community.

Why do we need more housing? Leave it as commercial we room for businesses to be able to open

No to re-zone! I want more than just a place to sleep. Personally want to see this beautiful town grow slow and easy. I already think its beautiful and don't want it to loose its charm. New small businesses would be great! A restaurant, grocery store, daycare = job creation for many. This is what our town is starving for!

Why is this even being considered? Before putting these apartments in shouldn’t the necessary businesses be put in place to accommodate the already established community? We already have new housing with no amenities nearby. Keep main street open for the businesses we so badly need, put the apartments on the secondary streets where they should be.

No high density housing. The developer increases his revenue while the community pays for the numerous issues caused by high density housing.
