This is SUCH a good idea, I cannot understand why anyone would even oppose it! It's modern and fantastic, and gives a wonderful community feeling to be able to mill around and enjoy one of the most beautiful beachfront shopping and dining areas in the USA!!!!

This is a great idea. Laguna's sister city, (Menton, France) has a beautiful pedestrian zone. We should too!

I would love this. I am 30+ resident and I know that the money in Laguna is here to stay, I just wish it could co exist with the charm and friendliness that Laguna had years ago. I would love a more inviting vibrant Forest Avenue.

This is long overdue. I hope we can finally have A car free shopping street.

I have lived in town since 1978. So any residents have been longing for a little bit of European flare to our quaint town. A pedestrian street on Forest is just the ticket to that end. It doesn't hurt to try and see how it affects the retailers and how much the residents will LOVE it!

I've been pushing for the creation of a pedestrian-friendly Forest for 20 years. Certainly, we'd need to replace lost parking and ensure it didn't become a campsite or circus environment of "performers", but if done right (as it has been in many places around the Country), it could be amazing and a windfall for residents, visitors and business.

We are long-time residents of Laguna Beach and have always been in favor of a pedestrian zone for Forest Ave.

This is not that difficult. It's a no brainer. Go to Aspen Colorado and learn how to do it.

This is an amazing idea to create a more "downtown" feel!

It's time to act on the notion that we can create a European type atmosphere in Laguna Beach. Stop the rhetoric and ACT!

I think the store owners will be surprised at the extra business they will enjoy if they will just give the idea a chance.
