Petition calling for the scrapping of car parking charges at the Livingston Centre

We the undersigned call for the scrapping of car parking charges at the Livingston Centre.
Since the charges were first introduced in June 2011, they have increased twice with no guarantee that they will not be increased again in the future. Shockingly there is no exemption for people with disabilities.
We note that comparable shopping centres, such as The Gyle, Hermiston Gait, Fort Kinnaird in Edinburgh all offer free car parking.
We believe that the ever increasing car parking charges at Livingston are deterring people from using the Centre, which ultimately will have a negative impact on the shops and other businesses located there.

It is already having a detrimental effect on the shopping experience in Livingston. Friends are thinking twice about visits and I am more often at the Gyle than Livingston.
DISABLED PEOPLE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY. THIS IS DISGRACEFUL.
getting way to expensive now
Stops me from popping in for a quick shop. If they get rid of the fees I would come back more often.
Ridiculous to charge so much just to grab a few things. Ill just keep going to fort kinnaird instead where its free.

I think it is appaling the fees they charge for parking at Livingston centre. The charges should be abolished.
