we are very well aware of the loss the union has just suffered and we are deeply sympathetic and pray that the soul of the deceased icon rests in peace but it is quite counter productive at this time to continue to allow students waste away at home. it is to this end we are appealing that the union should in the interest of undergraduates, prospective undergraduates, parents, business men and women who make a living off commercial activities in the schools and all other stakeholders that this strike should be brought to an end.

Words can not fully express the kind of damage this strike has caused us all, and I bet, it is obvious to both the government and the ASUU, why prolonging our sufferring? are they really our fathers and mothers? its hightime they took a decision and have us returned to school. 'enough is enough', (borrowed dat from dem)
i really dont know d connection between the death of iyayi and calling off the strike. the dead is gone and here you are jeopardising the future of the youth. it is rather unfortunate that education is taken for granted in this our country. this is a wake up call to asuu to call off the strike or else there would be a revolution of nigerian students. trust me!

at the initial stage,many of us felt the strike is in the interest of students;but with the recent actions of ASUU NEC,it is crystal clear that our future as students mean nothing to these people.Enogh is enough....the strike must end
Its true the protracted strike is in the interest of the education sector. However, we can't neglect the fact that its has destroyed and is still destroying a lot of destinies. For instance, the call to bar of at least 60 percent of Nigerian law students has been protracted by at least 12 months. So long a list. Help our future please
This is hilarious. FG not bothered about our future instead they have been busy embezzling public funds. This is really unfair. They should remember that whenever Angel of death knocks, all the funds they've embezzled cannot save them. Angel of Death will not ask them their number of properties because they cannot take any along. Ecclesiastes 5:15 : Everyone comes naked from their mother's womb, and as everyone comes, so they depart. The people behind FG should think twice. Is only matter of time before Angel of Death take all of us. God Almighty will not ask us anything but only our good deeds to the communities.
End ASUU Strike Now. Education is the bedrock of any society! Our Education must not go to sleep!

The Federal Government and ASUU should stop playing games with our future.The past five months have contributed to a lot of youths downfall.How many more lives do you want to sacrifice because you can't make a decision?
