The school administration remains silent despite the stories you are sharing about Ms. Rasul. Send a direct email to the board members today and demand they explain why they removed her. We need to keep the pressure on them until they acknowledge this community.

Many of us enrolled our young students because we knew we could trust Cindy to care for them properly. Removing her mid-year is very disruptive to the class and only harms the students. We can no longer stand by as the Board continues to make poor leadership decisions without including the parents or considering the implications to our children.
Ms. Cindy Rasul is the reason my son attends Sunrise Academy. She puts my child’s needs, as well as other student’s needs before her own. She treats every child the same and cares for them all as her own. If not for Ms. Cindy Rasul, I do not believe my child would have gained the confidence he has, in addition to be able to portray a Muslim the way Ms. Cindy’s actions have been illustrated to him. She is the reason as parents we have learned to trust the school, and the reason we allow our son to continue his education at Sunrise Academy.
Cindy Rasul has been a great asset to Sunrise Academy and without her Administrative knowledge, her teaching, and her interaction with our young children Sunrise will not be the same! Sadly , no one is being punished more than the our impressionable young preschoolers who would run to Mrs. Cindy for a morning hug! Please reconsider your decision to let Mrs. Cindy go,for the sake of the preschoolers, if not for the parents who love and trust her to be a great role model for all our children.
Cindy Rasul has been great with us and our daughters over the years. Her dedication to Sunrise Academy and our children has been undeniable.
Cindy is an inspirational leader. Her dedication can be seen through the success of the preschool over the years.
Cindy Rasul has been always a great preschool director as we'll as a great roll model for all the preschool teachers we all make mistakes and she should be given a second chance a preschool can't go on without an experienced director like Cindy
We need Cindy back.

We are at a loss for words. I tried explaining this to my preschool son and couldn't bear to watch the tears in his eyes! Ms. Cindy is like a mom and trusted teacher to our kids. It's hard to imagine Sunrise without her warm welcoming smile. We need to get her back ASAP!
