Petition Opposing the Oakwood Lane Subdivision Development

It's a money grab plain and simple. And will have a negative impact on all who live on Oakwood and surrounding area.

As a neighbor and Mountain community member I strongly oppose this overbuilt extensive development.

We live on a road that is considered a ‘private road’, meaning everyone uses it and we pay for its maintenance and upkeep. Having at least 60 more cars using the road will impact us considerably. We vote no for the increased traffic.

I say NO to the Oakwood subdivision.

I can't imagine how anyone could possibly suggest putting a 60 unit development into Oakwood Lane, let alone submit a proposal to do so! Any fool can plainly see that such a development would be an unmitigated disaster!!!!

In addition to the added stress to families, the resident wild animal population will suffer from loss of land to nest and forage as well as potential poisoning from newly increased residential animal control.

Opposed - 60 homes on less than 50 acres - no thank you - which means a minimum of 60 - 100 more cars on the mountain not to mention an increase in Amazon, ups, and fed ex deliverers- over the mountain increase in traffic via Paul lemen and Welch valley. I’m sure the township sees this as more taxes but that also means more infrastructure. Speaking of infrastructure would this new community have access to both public water and sewer - if so then the rest of the community should have the same access as well - would that happen - probably not which would be unfair to the people who already live here.

Too much traffic. I say no!

No to subdivision!!!

Even ignoring the traffic, water and runoff issues, this is well above the target density for R1. Assuming it's 30 acres, that would imply no more than 37 units (and probably less given space for streets, etc) given the zoning rules.

I am in agreement with my neighbors. The wildlife infrastructure and traffic conditions amongst others do not support this type of subdivision in our neighborhood.

This neighborhood is not suited for this type of development.

This proposed development would have a negative impact on the historical community of Valley Forge. The roads and other infrastructure could not support this many homes. Is the developer planning new roads? onsite septic? public water? Most residents of Valley Forge do not have public water or sewer. The township supervisors need to respect its treasured lands!

No! This will ruin our wonderful quiet community.

This would be a disaster and set a precedent for money hungry developers that this township is open for business!

I oppose this project

This area does NOT have the infrastructure to support this money-grab endeavor. This land should not be sacrificed for profit.

Absolutely I oppose this subdivision. Enough of suburban sprawl!

Very alarmed at the prospect of this proposal going through.
