The city confirmed that our plan for the Princess Street lanes is moving forward exactly as we hoped. Seeing these changes become reality means so much to me after all the time spent worrying about road safety in our neighborhood. I am grateful for everyone who stood by this vision …

We specifically support the "Complete Streets" priorities of walking, cycling, and using transit as exemplified in this design. The wider sidewalks and signalized pedestrian crossing also make this development a great step forward in making Princess Street, "Williamsville" a thriving people place.

Seeing 250 names on this list feels surreal because I remember when walking down Princess Street felt like risking my life. You have all given me real hope that we can finally turn this neighborhood into a place designed for people instead of just cars.

I ride down Princess Street every morning and I am tired of playing chicken with traffic just to get home. We need a few more signatures to hit our milestone before I take this to the council meeting. Please send the link to your neighbors so we can show them that Williamsville wants safer streets.

Finally! princess street is a nightmare for cyclists right now. this will make it so much safer for commuters and kids.
YES. make our streets accessible to people, not just traffic jams.
Williamsville needs this. Tired of getting squeezed by cars when I try to bike to work.
Cars arent the only things that use the road. Its about time we made it safe for everyone to get around.
The wider sidewalks will be great for walking our dogs too. hope this happens soon.

About time kingston caught up with other cities. biking shouldnt be a death wish on that road.
