I am signing this because the RCP have not revealed their conflict of interest in full. How much money has the RCP made from this and how big will be the financial hit if they stopped supporting it in full. For the sake of transparency they should give the actual figures.

Nurse not doctor. This is a shameful attack on patient safety

You should be ashamed of putting public health at risk. You will have blood on your hands. I'm guessing there has been Conservative "influence" on your decisions.

I am a very concerned member of the public. The RCP are supposed to be the governing body. Yet everything that they are displaying are illustrating that they have no interest in Public Safety and are being influenced by other factors through their neglect in push the PA agenda. There is no evidence to say that PAs are even needed. As a member of the public I am actively informing people not to be treated by a PA and insist on a doctor. I am concerned that PAs do not have sufficient medical science knowledge to treat undifferentiated patients - yet they are. I am therefore calling for a VONO in the leadership of the RCP. For patient safety we need the leadership to be changed and the PA agenda to be paused.

As a patient I will not see a PA or be put to sleep by an AA. I will encourage all of family and friends to do the same. Patient's safety comes first

The RCPL leadership have undermined the professional role of its doctor membership in favour of a mismanaged doctors assistants program. My primary concern is patient safety and the risk to the public by an unregulated undertrained group practicing on patients without defined scope and with absence of explicit safeguards

Support Drs it’s an absolute disgrace that a Pa earns more than them , and they should not be acting in any way like a Dr !

No Confidence of RCP, the role of PA vs Dr is dangerous and harmful. At its core, it is patient safety, confidence and competence. The role of PA is supportive, not a replacement and the risk to patient care is significant. 2 years of PA school & 3 yrs from any science bachelor is not medical school. RCP has been compromised by government and finance. The leadership board has to go.
