We need real doctors, not PAs who have studied for a mere 2 years and then look for diangnoses on Google.

Who is Oren Dontoc, the author of this petition?
The name does not appear on the GMC register.
Therefore, cannot sign this without knowing the author and their motive!

Very disappointed with college stance on this matter. PAs were supposed to “assist” doctors not “replace” them. Thats poor quality of care!

I don’t feel comfortable to be seen by them myself given my experience working with them . I would say stick supervision under doctor would be safe option.

It is very unfortunate that RCGP is directly or indirectly supporting replacement of GPs by PAs.

There needs to be a vote of no confidence . Absolute shambles in the way the data was misrepresented.

The RCP EGM was a disgrace. The misrepresentation of data, the poor responses to challenges and questions. The fiasco represents a massive failure of governance at the organisation and this desperately needs to be fixed.

Chasing personal rewards at the expense of those they are elected to serve. Embarrassed to call them colleagues.

I’m a GP but the role of the RCP in propagating and promotion unsafe physician associates affects me directly.

No confidence in RCP. It’s neither in best interests of patients not doctors

Ex employee who was removed for exposing issues they didn't want to deal with. This runs very deep across all leadership, clinical and operational.
