The experience here at WeWork 520 Broadway has been wonderful— from bagels to yoga classes to frozés, we have been blessed with many luxuries. However, there is one thing missing: Toilet seat covers in the restrooms!

This is not only a sanitary issue, it is one of sustainability. While it seems providing toilet seat covers would cause more waste, the lack of them is actually more harmful both environmentally and financially. Most brands make biodegradable seat covers made with 100% recycled paper. In addition, the lack of seat covers forces restroom goers to use toilet paper as a substitute, resulting in more waste (not to mention it often falling on the ground!)

As members of the WeWork community, we are sick of sitting on wet toilet seats! Maya Angelou once said, “[P]eople will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” And our butts feel wet.
