I was walking past the ones by the park today and honestly it was just as bleak as ever but seeing how many of you agree that this is a basic necessity is keeping me going. Sending out emails to the local office now because someone needs to explain why these spaces are neglected when we clearly have the capacity to keep them clean.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam when I first typed it out on my phone during a lunch break. It feels wild to see so many people actually care about the state of our bathrooms near the parks because I was starting to think I was the only one losing my mind over it. Now that we have this momentum maybe we can actually push for someone to listen.

The ones by morningside are actually unusable. I walked in there once and turned right back around.

seriously disgusting in there. hope this works.
This is very true, the city needs to improve the conditions of the public toilets. Some people hold their bladder because of how awful the toilets are which can lead to health problems.
