As someone who knows people that either work at the school, students that go to the school, and also church members, what that pastor is doing is Very wrong and needs to be held accountable

Mel, I appreciate your comments. Who have you asked specifics from? Those that could give you details, some probably scathing, have been silenced in the forums or have just walked away in disgust. I don't believe they are calling the Elders liars. They are hurt because they have not been allowed to speak, to ask questions. And a forum where it is one individual in front of a board of individuals is pure intimidation. I was shocked at your statement for all these hurting people to go find another church to attend. Get out, basically. Some of these folks have been at that church longer than you have and have invested their time and entrusted their tithes to a church they used to love. Now, in some form or fashion they have been hurt, neglected, pushed aside. They have found there are others like them. They want to fight for the church they loved to come back to its roots, its legacy. I pray that the church can come back form this.

Well folks, it looks like the silenced have found a voice. Just saw a friend's post with two videos from the local news media, Fox 5. They aired pieces on Fox5 at 5 and 6 and another one on Fox5 Plus. From the reporting, they have reached out to the church and Pastor for a response. None given as of yet. If only this had been handled properly from the start then maybe this attention could have been avoided. Now, they will start digging as good reporters do. What other skeletons might they find hiding in the closet? Very sad!!

The money we pay in school tuition should be for our children’s education, better lunch options, playgrounds, etc. Tithes and other offerings should be for the church and whatever it needs.

We have to do this for our kids! God didn’t intend for the education of our kids to be a business deal!

I have had an open mind and an open heart throughout this situation for over the last month. I have asked for specifics and have yet to be shown anything. I do think there are issues that do need to be addressed. That is why the very first statement that Elder Hunt made during the meeting was there were mistakes made and the elders are making changes to correct them. They also stated they have asked for outside help from the Assemblies of God to make sure they are doing everything above board. So yes, I do believe the elders I know not only my father-in-law but others on the board for several years and consider them extremely honorable and above reproach. I am not calling them liars, but they are calling the Elder board liars. Rather than doing what Matthew five says and sitting before the board and explain their situation and their grievance. The board has barely had a month or so to respond to all these accusations they are doing the best they can to investigate each and everyone and honor each and every persons concern. I trust them and pray for them. That is why I am still here. Even if my Father-in-law stayed and I felt that God wanted me to leave my wife and I would leave. My God comes first. As of today, nothing has been shown to me that cannot be fixed. I know the grace and mercy. My God has shown me and I will continue to show that grace to others even to my leadership.

Our children are paying the price for this madness, Two sorority filled pastors led CCA and because the pastoral family decided to push their agenda so far it became unethical one of them left and the other is carrying this burden on her own. Wendy has NO idea what it took for our school to make it to the point where it was a safe haven for our children. As an parent and church member I refuse to believe this is “Gods vision” because the fruit of their labor speaks for itsel. People, let the Holy Spirit guide you and don’t let their social skills mislead you.
