We, the members of Christ Chapel Church, come together in unity with the staff and teachers of Christ Chapel Academy to express our deep concern over recent events involving our Lead Pastor, Bob Griffith.
Pastor Bob’s actions have been marked by deception, control, and intimidation. Church membership has seen a noticeable decline under his leadership, and his most recent actions now threaten the very existence of Christ Chapel Academy—a school that has long served as a spiritual home and place of ministry for the youth in our community.
In light of this, we no longer have faith in Pastor Bob's ability to lead with integrity or in alignment with the teachings of Christ. As Jesus taught in Matthew 21:19, a tree that bears no fruit must be cut down.
Therefore, we call for the immediate resignation of Pastor Bob. This petition is created in unity, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, and with all honor and glory to God.
To further understand the gravity of our concerns and the broader context, we invite you to read the Unified Open Letter written by church and school community members.
We urge our church members to sign this petition. Together, let us protect the mission, values, and future of Christ Chapel.

It’s even been a very difficult journey for CCC/CCA the past several years under the leadership of Pastor Bob. I strongly believe it’s time for his immediate resignation and removal due to numerous deceptive practices under his leadership.
That’s why me and many other people that I know left the church. I felt like the church was being more treated like a business and not like the house of God.
It is very unfortunate that it had to come to this but there are multiple people in my life who have been personally victimized by the leadership at Christ Chapel and it is time for a change to be made
I have been a member for over 15 years. Left the Church recently. I am concerned about the direction the Church is going. So many people have left, staff members have left abruptly. These are all people of color. What is going on in the church?
“Pastor Bob” should have no place at Christ Chapel or have any part in CCA. After the events at the townhall meeting he needs to GO. He is not in unity with the families at CCA and his lack of leadership and transparency is frightening & disheartening. RESIGN.

We won’t stop tho. We can go to the national office and other phone calls I can’t say have been called. Don’t give up, we must continue to spread the truth and petition. They want us to give up- I know from experience.

It saddens my heart to see a pastor who is willing and happy to divide his flock. Every Leader is accountable to God for each soul in his care, and must do everything to keep the unity of the Body of Christ even at the cost of his own interest.
