So Mel, have you ever known an election process for deacons and elders where one of the individuals was voted down? I don't think so. You want to know why? Because a congregation of that size has no clue who each individual is (to include their spiritual walk, character, etc). So, it is a rubber stamp vote where all nominees are automatically voted in. Yet, the church has to do it because it is in the bylaws to do so. Your statement has no validity based on the above. Yes, we voted them in but now we see that they are burrowing their heads in the sand just like they have done in the past. So to condemn those that speak out, you are in essence calling all of them liars (to include Pastor Miklich who was a past elder). Why would he stand in front of parents and say what he said? You have a close relationship with the Pastor and your father-in-law is a current elder. I can see where you are coming from. But take a step back and listen to the others on this forum. You know a lot of them and have served beside them. Do you think they are doing this because it is fun. No. They know the ramifications. If those that want to move forward past the cursory "we turn our heads and wash our hands of this matter", they can petition the District council to step in and investigate.

I don't like the arrogance with which Pastor Wendy speaks to the church.

After what we saw today, I have no doubt something is terribly wrong. We deserved the truth, we deserved a presentation that was from both, the church and the academy because the meeting was 100% about the Academy. Pastor Bob and the elders needed to present facts. Documents and numbers… not a verbal Mathew 5 meeting being taken out of contexts CPS was called due to abuse from the pastoral family, the CCA principals was pushed out by the pastors because she refused to bow and follow orders and non of that was discussed. I was there, I witness the way they wouldn’t let us vote or voice our concerns. They said the elders will meet with each of us individually if we have questions.. but to all of us parents, church members and employees it’ss obvious that it’s a damage control tactic. Resign now Bob, resign and ask for forgiveness. God is a just God & you will face consequences.

I've been in this church since my daughter was in fifth welcome correct, but the changes that I am seeing are so drastic. Change is not a bad thing but I think it would be great to work hand in hand with the board that has been there for many many years in making decisions. My observations was , first trying to chart the coir down , and a quite remembered that some of us coir members reach out to bring the coir back one Sunday after church, which I don't think is right, because that ministry has been there for decades and that is some of us ministry that we really enjoy, but after that conversation we were brought back but placing us in an uncomfortable situation that will force you to leave, because sometimes, standing on that steps makes you so scared to make you uncomfortable to a point that, you can't even express yourself in worshipping because you are afraid you will fall ,which I don't think is right. We have elderly people that need to be given respect, standing on that steps for the whole entire praise and worship time, I think is very appalling and ucomfortable up there. You can't even move around as a worshiper. The environment is becoming unconduesive by forcing people to leave the establishment which I don't think is right. I think it would be great to work hand in hand with the board to make decisions that will help both the school and the church. seeing workers and volunteers that has been in the church for decades leaving is very appalling and it requires a change.Being a leader requires inclusion not exclusion. A Shepherd lead its sheep's to the greener pastures but not lead them astray. I miss pastor Bill Robert so much, he really makes you feel at home, and welcome. Praying for positive outcome

His behavior is unethical at best and a complete moral failing at worst. He is our pastor. We trusted our child with him and he has failed on so many fronts

It saddens my heart to see a pastor who is willing and happy to divide his flock. Every Leader is accountable to God for each soul in his care, and must do everything to keep the unity of the Body of Christ even at the cost of his own interest.

I am not surprised to see this. My wife and I knew in our hearts he was not the right one, one of the many reasons we left. There was another man that really loved the church and worked hard for the church for many years. He even applied to become the pastor, but he wasn’t given the opportunity. My prayers to CCC

It is very unfortunate that it had to come to this but there are multiple people in my life who have been personally victimized by the leadership at Christ Chapel and it is time for a change to be made

What has happened to Christ Chapel? Under Pastor Roberts it was a thriving spirit filled church. After watching a few live streams it looks like a shadow of be its former self. Instead of having its own identity, it now looks like every other cookie cutter church you see online. And from the rare views of the congregation it seems that attendance is way down. The outside pews are empty where once packed. Lots of people on this and the other petition are hurting. Why? Maybe a change is in order. Elders, it’s okay to admit it’s not a good fit anymore. Christ Chapel had an amazing culture and legacy. It’s time for a change to bring back this culture and restore its legacy.

I don’t believe that is how it works. The Elder board has final say in hiring. Pastor Roberts might have had some influence over the decision but he is not the final say. Regardless, as with any interviewing process it is hard to tell what a person will be like once in the position. He might have interviewed great and even preached well when he spoke at the church for the first time. Many people interview well and get the job only to find out they are not a good fit down the road. It happens. What is troubling is that there seems to be so much hurt in the church right now. What has caused this? It needs a long hard look. Trying to stay impartial but I know a lot of people on this and the other petition. They are all good people with good hearts. What has happened at Christ Chapel with all this hurt? Why has it not been addressed until now?

Why would anyone speak to Pastor Bob about this and expect truth? Speak to the Elder board and to Mrs. Burnette. The wrongs done against her and the school started this in the first place. Better yet, I challenge you to sit down with Mrs. Burnette and hear her heart. You will not find a more kind, loving, Godly woman of faith. Her work ethic and commitment to the school but more importantly the children is beyond reproach.

Ephesians 5:11 states, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them". Pastor Bob divided the church by his deception and ugly behavior. The enemy's predictable behavior: condemnation and accusing those who are calling out sin. Pastor Bob, this is not a game. God will not be mocked. Repent, give full account and step down.

Dear Christ Chapel Church, Ah, what a glorious sight. I must confess, few things delight me more than watching the so-called “faithful” turn on one another in the town square for all to see. Bravo. You've taken what could’ve been a quiet conversation in the spirit of unity—and turned it into a spectacle. A petition! Public, passionate, and perfectly divisive. Delicious. You see, nothing feeds my mission better than when believers forget who the real enemy is. Instead of standing together, you’ve made your shepherd the target and turned your sanctuary into a battleground. While the world watches. While the skeptics snicker. While the non-believers nod and say, “See? They’re no different than us. Maybe even worse.” And oh, how they love it. Your little drama has become their confirmation. Not of truth, but of hypocrisy. Not of grace, but of self-righteous fury. Your public airing of private grievances has done more to damage the Gospel than any of my minions ever could. This is what I live for: when pride dresses up as discernment, when ego masquerades as righteousness, and when churches forget that love covers a multitude of sins—not posts, petitions, and platforms. Keep it up. Keep shouting louder than you pray. Keep dividing over the shepherd while forgetting the sheep. Keep assuming your way is Heaven’s way and your enemy is the one sitting in the pew beside you. Keep posting, keep signing, keep talking. Because the longer you war with each other, the fewer people look up. Warmest regards, Your Delighted Adversary The Father of Division

It’s even been a very difficult journey for CCC/CCA the past several years under the leadership of Pastor Bob. I strongly believe it’s time for his immediate resignation and removal due to numerous deceptive practices under his leadership.
