Petition to the Philippine Government for Strict Enforcement of Noise Pollution Laws in the Philippines: Uphold RA 386 Nuisance Law, RA 8749, PD 1152-856, and NPCC (now under EMB) Memorandum Circular 002 Series of 1980"
In this petition, we, the undersigned concerned citizens, advocate for the Philippine government to take urgent action in strictly enforcing noise pollution laws to protect the health, well-being, and environment of the people.
We call for the implementation of Republic Act 386 (Nuisance), Republic Act 8749 (Clean Air Act), Presidential Decree 1152 (Environmental Code) 856 (sanitation code), and NPCC (now under DENR-EMB) Memorandum Circular 002 Series of 1980.
Noise pollution has become a pervasive issue in various parts of the country, adversely affecting the daily lives and peace of the people.
We urge the government to uphold the following key points:
1. Strict Implementation of Noise Pollution Laws: We request the government to enforce existing laws and regulations related to noise pollution, holding noise violators accountable for their actions.
2. Awareness and Education: We call for educational campaigns to raise public awareness about the harmful effects of noise pollution and the importance of adhering to noise control measures.
3. Collaborative Efforts: We advocate for collaboration among government agencies, local authorities, and community organizations to develop comprehensive strategies for noise reduction.
4. Penalties and Sanctions: We emphasize the need for imposing appropriate penalties and sanctions on those who create excessive noise nuisances, disregarding the welfare of others.

I have been reading your messages about sleeping through constant sirens and loud construction and it confirms this struggle is shared by too many of us. I am currently organizing the evidence to present to the local authorities so we can finally start holding these violators accountable.

Videokes must be removed in every barangay. We have residents who work during the night that needs to sleep during the day but some residents are so selfish that they don't care about others. they sing the whole day til 2am with in full volume. our barangay is brgy216.
I am also a victim of noise and disturbance in our home due to the noisy furniture business placed adjacent in our area. I hope this petition will be approved as soon as possible because nuisance is not a joke. We are not over reacting. Our normal way of living is disturbed when affected by noise.
I sign this petition to enforce strict non-usage of videoke/karaoke in residential areas. That the Barangay should designate a proper area for celebrations that call for loud sound systems.
WE WANT A NATION WIDE BAN ON ALL ILLEGAL MODIFICATION ON MOTORCYLES AND VEHICLES ESPECIALLY LOUD EXHAUST. LOUD MUFFLER AND OPEN PIPES . IT CREATES EXTREME NOISE POLLUTION IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. WE NEED A NATIONWIDE LAW FOR OVERALL NOISE POLLUTION PROBLEM HERE IN THE PHILIPPINES.
Hoping na maimplement po ang noise nusiance law sa bawat brgy. Sobrang affected po kami sa ingay sa basketball court esp. pag may liga, event and zumba. 2 meters away lng po ang compound namin sa court. Waiting na lng po kami sa action ng Brgy na mabakuran ng mataas ang court atleast mabawasan ang ingay sa amin.
I am an everyday victim of noise pollution wherein an open bar that plays loud bass noise from their speaker during the night of the operation of the said bar, we escalate the matters to the barangay level and the most nightmare that i encountered recently is the school that operates inside in our private subdivision, you know that the rudeness and the noise created by young people is beyond our control, if these senior and college students wanted to scream and creates noise to their hearts delight they can do it to their hearts delight, I submitted a letter of concern to the hoa president last years but to no avail, we can not even access to quality sleep even inside our own house..please help
