Reaching this point has been an exhausting uphill climb but seeing the momentum grow gives me a reason to keep pushing. This response proves that we are not the only ones worried about the safety of our streets.

I'm not the greatest supporter of unnecessary speed-bumps, but the reckless driving I've seen in Elisenheim over the past few years suggests that the strategic placement of speed calming is essential for the safety of both adults and children.
Currently it is very dangerous for our kids to ride on their bicycles because the people do not adhere to the speed limit. We moved to Elisenheim so that our kids can play outside and due to reckless driving my kids can't play outside. Also I witnessed an excavator hit one of the horses while they were at my house due to excessive speed.
Yes for speedbumps, but this needs to be properly designed then it will not affect vehicle emissions. An engineer can design a speedbump which will be almost unfelt if driven over at 40km/h. Faster and it will become uncomfortable. The idea is to keep under 40km/h.
We urgently need to limit the speed. In principle yes for speed bumps, BUT please remember that a speed bump is a noisy feature. Cars are breaking in front, drive over with some noise and then accelerate again after the bump. There are also other alternatives for "traffic calming" which don't create extra noise
Wwe definetely need speed humps, especially for us residing close to blocks of flats at 305 and 306. Most residents of these flats drive very recklessly in and out of the flats.
let's be pro-active, and not wait until there's an accident/incident.

I fully support the installation of speed humps at Elisenheim Estate. The streets are a dangerous area for people to cross as speeding on these roads is a everyday occurrence. Especially children and workers are constantly crossing the streets.
