This petition is for our school and other local schools to change the speed of traffic, 30 mph, as it is causing a threat to students walking to their schools. We would also like for there to be sign posts making drivers aware of the speed limit in these areas. We would like you to please sign this petition to help make the local area safer for students.
I have submitted a formal request for a traffic assessment to the local council based on the documented risks to our students. Expect a summary of their initial response as soon as I receive a formal reply from the planning department.

The traction gained on this petition has allowed me to request a formal meeting with the local traffic safety board. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines the specific need for reduced speed limits and permanent signage near campus.

Really important. I have been worried for both mine and my children's safety on the roads around the school

Anything that can be done to help keep our children safe when walking to and from school is welcomed.

I think this is very important as I see so many drivers on a daily basis hurtling around by the school and roads in general nearby.

Everyone should sign this. Keep our kids safe walking to BSCS and back. Speed limit should be lower.

I live near the BSCS school and have two children who walk to school, and agree that the speed limit should be reduced.

The students of all our schools in Bradley Stoke should be protected by ensuring traffic around them drives below 20mph.
