We, the undersigned, members of the faithful at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Burke, Virginia appeal to you to immediately rescind the order of administrative leave placed on the Rev. Dr. Laurence K. Packard, Rector of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Burke, Virginia, so that he may resume his duties as Rector through the Diocesan Hearing Panel if necessary. His forced absence from our parish life for unknown reasons and prohibition of any contact with him by members of this parish has created unwarranted turmoil and burdens while greatly imperiling the good order and welfare of this parish.

WHAT IS GOING ON?? Fr. Larry is a good man and he belongs at Good Shepherd. This is really upsetting for all of us.
This is total nonsense. He is a wonderful pastor and everyone knows it. Let him come back to his flock!
Bring him back. The church isnt the same without him.
We miss Fr. Larry so much. He has been the heart of our community for years and this just feels so wrong.
We need our rector back. Just give him his job back already.

Rev. Packard needs to be reinstated immediately. The congregation is being kept in the dark and it is not right.
