After the events which played through after the representative's speeches; I would like to formally apologize for my incorrect usage of the word "drugs" as I was referring to over the counter drugs, such as tylenol and benadryl, for minor injuries during sporting events. I meant no harm and did not intent to use the word "drug" as today it has many negative connotations.

I 100% understand why my word choice had to be addressed with me, but I feel the punishment was severe and I still would like to have the chance to run in this student government election. I believe I have new ideas and a different outlook I could bring to our student body, and I believe I should be reinstated as an eligible candidate for the representative position for the class of 2019.

In a step towards appealing this decision I ask the HBHS student body to show their support by considering signing this petition. Ultimately, I would like the opportunity to improve the atmosphere at HBHS as a member of student government, and with your help and signatures, this opportunity could become my reality.
