The department administration remains unresponsive to our emails but I am continuing to push for a formal meeting. This process is exhausting and slow yet we still need a space to actually connect with each other.

Seeing this level of support confirms what I already felt about the need for us to connect more often. It has been a long grind to get this much traction but I am staying focused on turning these signatures into a real policy change for our department.

FINALLY. Why are we the only department that never does anything together??
Free food and beer after a long week in the lab sounds like a dream. Count me in.
Coffee and donuts would actually make me want to come in on Fridays. Do it.
Yes pleeease. Lab life is so isolating right now. We need this.
