We WANT your HELP to convince Baytown City Council to “Vote NO” on Vopak Moda Houston (VMH) special use permit to build and operate a crude oil tank farm on Baker Road (12 above-ground tanks, each 155’ diameter and 90’ tall, domed, located next to St. James House).

The safety and security of our loved ones at Baytown Junior High, Travis Elementary, St. James House, and residents of LAKEWOOD, PONDEROSA and CRAIGMONT, our property values, and our quality of life are at stake!

VMH, and other chemical tank farm operations, have a history of violating Texas safety and pollution regulations.

Residents of Baytown, please sign this petition to URGE the Baytown City Council members to vote NO on granting VMH Petrochemical Storage (Terminal Tank Farm) Special Use Permit.

Thank you,

Baytown Residents Against the Tank Farm

Baytown city council needs to wake up. We have enough industry here already without putting crude oil tanks right next to a nursing home. vote NO.

St James house is a place for our seniors to live in peace not next to a hazard. Unbelievable.

NO WAY. We have had enough of these companies ignoring the rules. Bad for the town.

Keep this garbage away from our neighborhood. Property values are gonna tank if they build this.
