Reasons why formal should be on Friday, April 26th:
1. It's always been on a Friday. Stick with traditions.
2. Date selection will be better - Chi O and Beta have formal Thursday and dates coming from Out of Town.
3. A lot of people have class and finals that Friday, which isn't fair to those people to miss the a formal everyone pays for.
4. Everyone can stay and have fun the whole time, because people won't rush to leave to LR and Bongos.
5. Seniors want to have time to take pictures on the quad for our LAST FORMAL EVER so respect us.

The feedback I have gathered from classmates confirms that this shift in scheduling creates unnecessary pressure for those attempting to balance exam preparation with university traditions. I am currently working to organize these insights into a formal request for the administration to review their decision.

Seeing this groundswell of support has confirmed how deeply everyone values the tradition and accessibility of our formal. It is clear that we are looking for a celebration that honors our time here rather than one that feels rushed or exclusionary.

My date is driving 4 hours to get here so a thursday night is basically impossible. move it to friday pls.
Literally who decided on a Thursday??? Such a bad idea. We need all day Friday for pictures anyway.
I have lab 8-10 Thursday and I always have to miss most of the functions :(

Having class the next morning ruins the whole vibe of formal. friday is way better.
