We, the undersigned, viewers of the Longhorn Network (LHN) petition Dish Network to broadcast in High Definition (HD). We find it unreasonable that while every other network that broadcasts college sports is made available in HD, the Longhorn Network remains in standard definition. Many of us were told by Dish representatives that LHN would be made available in HD by the first game vs North Texas on 8/30 but this was not the case. As a result, viewers were forced to watch in standard definition, use the WatchESPN app for higher quality and delayed programming or find another venue to watch the game. We find this oversight by Dish Network unacceptable and will consider taking our programming dollars elsewhere if this is not corrected.

It's 2014. HD should be the standard at this point. I work in TV and know for a fact that practically it doesn't take any more bandwidth than SD. If you can carry the shopping channels or Oprah channel in HD, you can carry LHN in HD too.
To compound the fact that they lied to us about the game being available in HD, LHN is also impossible to watch on dishanywhere.com. Dishanywhere.com only picks up the HD channel which is not broadcasting anything.
Was told by the Dish sales rep the games were to be broadcast in HD. Obviously this was just a sales pitch to gain customers.
I was told when I recently switched from another provider that the games would be shown in HD on the Longhorn Network I was lied to. You have an HD channel in the guide. Use it.
I streamed using WatchESPN however I had to put my phone away because game alerts were coming in faster than the streaming delay. DISH - Fix this now!

The day of the Texas-North Texas game a Dish rep assured me the game would in HD on the HD 407 channel so I set my dvr for that time so I could start the game later. Missed most of the game.
