The feedback from local residents reflects a clear desire for more direct oversight of our community infrastructure. I am currently preparing the formal submission materials for the District Council to ensure our case for a separate parish is well documented.

The momentum behind this request for a Community Governance Review reflects a clear consensus among our residents. This growing support reinforces our case as we prepare to present this formal proposal to the District Council.

32 BH20 6LW Within the present parish of Wool and Bovington the principal areas of population are too distant and their needs to disparate to form a coherent entity. A separate Parish Council for Bovington would enable it to decide how best to use it's income in order to address the specific requirements of it's residents.
14 BH20 6NY Bovington is big enough now to manage its own affairs without having to go through Wool for everything. It just makes sense to have our own council.

I do not believe this is a good idea, dual parishes, extra costs, and separating Bovington, creating an isolation from the whole village concept. To my mind this would be a bad move.
