My husband and I owned a loft just down the block from the bar for 21 years and we were always so happy to have Bleecker Street Bar in the neighborhood. They were such a great support to the local community. They deserve to stay a part of the neighborhood.

I lived around the corner from Bleecker Street Bar for about 7 years. The wonderful folks that run the bar created a super fun, warm, and friendly environment for all. A true gem in a world of retail chains and faceless corporate storefronts, and a great asset to the community. Here's hoping we can raise a glass to celebrate the old location at a new bar soon!

Please allow this bar to continue its operations at a new location. We’ve been their insurance agent for over 30 years and the owners are very responsible people. A bar in existence for that many years tells you that. The neighborhood needs this type of bar. You don’t find many Jazz bars in the city anymore

British and I come to NYC (pre-Covid) for work several times a year. So upset my usual drinking haunt when in town had fallen victim to a situation out of their control - and support any and all moves for them to re-open in new premises.

Love this bar! Was devastated to see it go. I’m a New York transplant from Iowa. Every Saturday the staff at Bleecker would let me watch the Iowa football games on the small tv. I dearly miss seeing their faces.
