How many more innocent lives will be lost before action is taken. There needs to be a bridge there. RIP rob my thoughts are with all those who knew him.

I drive on that road every day and even though it has a crossing people want to get across quicker and safely so a footbridge is the way to go. Also part of that road is national speed limit and lots of drivers are always speeding and if the traffic lights are green and people including kids will still run across nobody stands a chance

So, so sad to hear about Robert. Such a diamond human being. Created laughter wherever he went. Going to be such a sad place without him. My thought's and prayers to Robert's family. Let's get the bridge built and protect all future pedestrians crossing. RIP Robert, you're diamond's shining brightly xx

There cannot be another tradegy allowed to happen before the powers that be see sense and make this road safer to cross

A footbridge is so badly needed. I witnessed this horrific accident. My heart goes out to Mr Sims Family and friends. A sad day I will never forget.

Crawley need this bridge built across this fast road. Money should not be an issue.

This is a dangerous place to cross especially if you have a buggy, walking stick. The cars come through there so fast and don't take any notice of the actual speed limit through there
