This has always been an accident waiting to happen. I no longer live in the area but my husband used K2 regularly and often commented on the lights and pedestrian access.

A very dangerous stretch of road. A footbridge is a necessity, also speed restrictions that are the same on both sides of the carriageway.

Twice while crossing at lights while green man showing have had cars that are in the filter lane pull away when their lights have changed and come straight on. This road needs a bridge while waiting in central reservation you feel very unsafe due to the speed of the traffic coming down the hill !!

No more injuries/deaths - enough is enough... it is NOW time for the highways agency/council/government to sort this out!!

Crawley has 2 bridges on creasys drive which is in a 30mph zone but nothing on the 50mph A23 by the K2. It needs changing now and will be money well spent.

A good friend of my daughter, who was partially sighted and who would not have taken a risk while trying to cross the road, was tragically killed last Friday.

Always takes a tragedy, but understood that resources must be managed.
Time now to ensure this doesn't happen again given the tragic precedent events as evidence to validate the value of this requirement.
