It is to be noted that Pearson Edexcel has cancelled all sorts of examination internationally due to the risk and the danger that are being posed by the ongoing pandemic. We also demand a similar response from CAIE as the students from Edexcel and Cambridge are all over the world.

If, someone does get diagnosed with covid on the premises, who is going to take responsibility for that? We can't risk that. A lot of us students have already been infected with covid and know for a fact how much of hardship this period is for a covid patient. A lot of our parents are aged well enough to be diagnosed with serious health problems if they are to be infected with covid through the means of us.

As already mentioned, we can't even risk of the 1% chance of a candidate or an invigilator or a parent to get infected with covid. As for developing countries unlike the UK, it'll be very tough to maintain social distance during the exam day as all the students, parents and guardians will be cramped over a small space.

Therefore, it will be prudent for CAIE to cancel all the exams for May-June 2021 session. This is about a global pandemic, and we cannot compromise our health in the name of exam, and if we do, it's going to affect both us and our community as a whole.
