RE: Petition Appeal for the Continuation of WillowCrest Community Kids, in Riddle Elementary.

Comes now the existing families of Willow Crest Community and The Enclaves at Willowcrest on behalf of the children of said community, through their next friends and guardians, to petition the Frisco Independent School district, to desist in pursuing plans for an amendment to zoning that would preclude this community from inclusion in attending student body Of Jessie Marie Riddle ElementarySchool, in the forthcoming years.

Be it now known that the parents and patrons of the community, Willow Crest and The Enclaves at Willow Crest, strongly oppose the proposed re-zoning. Please consider this petition formal notification of the intent to formally oppose.

The children of the community in question, by virtue of their established relationships with both peers and educators, would likely suffer potentially irreparable emotional damage from a forced displacement of their academic pursuits and extracurricular activities, as it is well documented that stability, routine, and security are fundamental in the establishment of individual self esteem, self worth, and rudimentary social skills.

Under the purview of the existing and established grandfather clause, the children of Willow Crest and The Enclaves At Willow Crest, by and through their next friends and guardians, do request that the esteemed board of the Frisco Independent School District, reconsider, if not recant, the proposed rezoning of Willow Crest and The Enclaves at Willow Crest for the duration of the elementary school tenure of the existing students at Jessie Marie RiddleElementary School for the students currently residing within the aforementioned community.
