Those who sign this petition indicate that they oppose the current Labour administration's plans to scrap the Nottinghamshire School Bus Pass Scheme. Currently the scheme is in place to help low-income families whose children require the use of public transport to get to school. The scrapping of this scheme will mean that these families whose children go to the school outside of their catchment area will faced costs between £577 and £760 (Nottingham City Transport, 2013) per child.
