PETITION AGAINST REZONING PARCEL 16-20950-000, CORNER OF Euston & Commonwealth

One existing DOLLAR GENERAL STORE is one to many. No need to change residential to commercial.

I am against the rezoning of parcel 16-20950-000. This area is not designed for commercial. This is a high use area for walkers, bikers, golfers, dog walking, kids, etc...

I am opposed to the rezoning of parcel 16-20950-000 located at the corner of Euston and Commonwealth R-1 Single Family Residence to C-1 Neighborhood Commercial. This area is an active area that has been designed for golfers, bike riders, dog walkers, family walks, and so on. I feel that changing this to a commercial zone would be dangerous in this community. My family and I walk our dogs and ride bikes in this area quite often. If this were to go commercial, traffic would greatly increase and accidents would be likely to occur. The lighting and noise would also negatively impact this area. I believe that Cooper thinks they will have difficulty selling this as residential and they are trying any which way possible to rezone it as commercial. This will not be a benefit to this neighborhood. I request that this parcel stay zoned for single family and not commercial. Thank you for hearing my concerns.

Do not rezone this parcel for commercial use. I walk there almost every day and adding a commercial enterprise will ruin that corner.

I am against rezoning this residential lot to commercial. I use Metfield gym twice a week and golf at Brittany once or twice a month. I walk on the Greenway weekly. I, and so many others like me, do NOT need a commercial enterprise right in the middle of one of the busiest pedestrian, bicyclist, recreationist, golfer locations in Bella Vista not to mention one of the more densely populated areas due to the townhouse communities that surround this corner.

Totally against this. I fear this will happen on my side of town, I'm close to the highway on/off ramp. Glasgow is already super busy in this area. So much for a quiet town nestled in the woods!!

Don’t need commercial zoning in residential area.this is how it starts bv is not like most towns we have maybe two main roads in all of bv, not really set up for the traffic especially with bikes on main roads now.
