I am fortunate to be born in Australia but Australia is not a world on its own, we are only a small part of a bigger world. It is very disappointing to know that there are still huge discrepancies regarding women's rights around the globe. Being aware that in this day and age a woman is expected to be a breeding machine. Being aware that a female is valued less than a male. Being aware that it is deemed acceptable to demand abortion, torture a woman and attempt to kill a young human being because of the gender one is born. What triggers such unjust actions? Why is poverty an acceptable excuse? The world is not under resourced because of women only. The world is not impoverished because of women only. The world is not undervalued because of women only. Why are females still being held accountable for the world's failures?
