Hello, my fellow Whovians. I have recently received the news that the twelfth Doctor will be portrayed by Peter Capaldi. I do not believe that this decision was the correct one. Mr. Capaldi is a talented actor and I have nothing against him. However, I feel that he has simply passed the age to portray the Doctor. Although I believe that age is just a number, Mr. Capaldi would be the second oldest actor to play the Doctor since William Hartnell(the first Doctor). He would be replacing the YOUNGEST Doctor, Matt Smith, only 26 years old. Many Whovians believe that the Doctor gets younger every time he regenerates, and having the Doctor look much older than how he looked before would be confusing. I ask you now, to make the right choice and sign this online petition. I know this is not much, but hopefully, it will lead to something grand and spectacular. Neil Armstrong said, "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind". We must make our voices be heard. The creators, producers, and directors must choose a different actor to play the Doctor. As Aesop once said, "United we stand, divided we fall". And we must unite, in one voice, to say PETER CAPALDI SHOULD NOT PLAY THE ROLE OF THE DOCTOR!!!
