Please stop the inhumanity of inadequate laws that are not protecting dogs from freezing to death in extremely cold and harsh weather conditions. Please change the laws to address this important issue to prevent the cruelty of dogs dying because of such exposure! If people have dogs, then they must be required to bring dogs indoors, during such times or face animal cruelty charges. If the animal dies due to the owner not protecting him adequately in such conditions then this person(s) should be prosecuted for felony animal cruelty and serve jail time.

you should never be allowed to own a dog that is left outside in the cold. If you are that inhumane towards animals then they should be taken away.

You should never be allowed to own a dog that is left to keep itself warm outside on these super cold nights. It is totally inhumane and people should report this to the humane society, where they could either tell you to bring your dog in (although if you have to be told you shouldn't own a dog) or have the humane society take them to shelter, where they can be warm...just like you and I like to BE...

Changes need to be made. Dogs need proper shelter just like humans. If people don't want a dog in their home they shouldn't own one.
