They definitely deserve it to sure wish someone had got a petition for us when they got a big raise awhile back but again the way they do things are not fair to, but I will say this a lot of these Foreman's and assistance are saying they give up there personal life to serve the public and a lot of people under them will not answer their phones if it causes that much problem with your personal life step down there's always somebody to step back up that's the way to state does itI agree they need there raise also, but where was this petition for us when they got a big raise, we were told to call our Congress man. Also y'all calm your on call 24/7 an no one under you will answer there phones if this positions cause that much problems step down, there's always some one to move up that's the management way

I agree that the supervisors should make more than the people they manage, but the pay isn’t only wrong for them it’s messed up across the board. I have been here over 7 years and have people that just hired on making only 2 cents less than me that still get a 5% raise after probation and another one that’s been here 2 years less than me making more. Even with the new raise they did not fix any of the current problems on why they cannot retain workers.

I love the pay raise for myself because it is hard in these times to make it by. But I do believe that everyone else, especially supervisors, should get a raise as it only makes sense.

Not sure where the incentive is to be a supervisor or foreman, to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 365 days a year. To carry a phone at all times to insure that someone can get in touch with you to maintain the public’s safety. To put your life and plans on hold and go out to take care of any issues when those under you can’t be reached. To try to insure that everyone under you has the tools and information to make the task at hand as safe as possible when working around the non-driving, extremely distracted public. I’m grateful for those who got the raise but leaving the supervisors/ foreman’s out is absolutely insane and distasteful. Why would anyone want to take on more responsibilities and headaches when those working under you make the same amount and in some cases a little more without the headaches. Pay needs to be kept fair for everyone or risk loosing the more experienced employees.

It is only fair to give all levels pay increases. I have personally not gotten an increase or less of a raise than others. This is very discouraging and a good way to loose good employees.

It’s pretty bad when you have been working at the state for almost 20 years and now are in a supervisor position and you keep up with every one time, along with scheduling jobs for your employees, working with other supervisors schedules and there job task on daily basis and your employees under you are making with in 70 cents or passing you in pay when they can’t much more and tie there shoes. Then you as the supervisor and a tech that is above you 99% of the time is doing the physical labor of the job task because your employees don’t have no experience and they can’t learn nothing even after showing them numerous times. Then they are making close to same money or equal to you or passing you up in pay. What happened to the ones having the experience, common sense and the year of service being paid the most.

As the spouse of a former mgmt level transportation employee I know the amount of responsibility he was expected to provide in that role. Giving all state workers, including teachers, should be demanded annually .

Need incentive for management role with more work and responsibilities.

These raises were not thought out very well. The department of transportation is going to have employees with less time than some other employees passing each in pay

These people help the State safe all year long. They deserve at least a 10% increase

What’s the use in having foreman’s and assistant foreman’s if the men working under them are making the same pay? Fair is fair for everyone!!!

This action is not fair and just, something else needs to be done or why expect all the extra responsibility and not be compensated fairly.

Give the men and woman the raise they deserve! Supervisors work hard if not harder and deserve that raise!

It’s bad when you have 17 years in at the state and been a supervisor 1 for 3 years. But have employees under you making close to what you make with only having 10 years in.

No reason this raise shouldn’t be across the bored,
