Class needs to be examined. The level of high school biology lectures are being given while the exam questions are MCAT level. No exaggeration, some Princeton practice tests have these questions from the exams.

Yes this class is really unfair and unreliable to help a student succeed moreover students feel the guilt of thinking that they didn’t study enough when we aren’t given the appropriate resources and support. After all, we are seriously hurt by this terrible teaching system and our chances at achieving our professional endeavors.

Three big exams aside from the weekly quizzes and lab exams seem unfair to be the only thing we are being graded on. I believe that one would learn better if we had more resources that would explain many concepts that we are supposed to be learning about. Homework assignments would be helpful, we can learn and earn points at the same time.

Especially for an intro bio class this class is way too hard. The exams are worded poorly and the questions are mostly irrelevant to the content learned in class. Professors should do their job properly and present information in a clear and concise manner but instead we are given a bunch of information to digest without any practice questions on how the exams are formatted. The labs should also be relevant to the chapters that we are reading during that time of the semester but it is completely new and we are left to digest even more information. Hunter should really evaluate who they higher. This problem is not only seen for this class but professors for higher level science classes where they are incapable of teaching and presenting their information in a concise way.

This course doesn’t foster a love for the science and is clearly trying to get as many people as possible to drop the class. I’d love to see a change in the future
