In this day in age highschool children are being denied the right to use the toilet in "class time" despite the dact not going the toilet can damage tour bladder/bowel.
What about adults who work and school?? Are they allowed to use the toilet??
Labor laws state that employers MUST allow all workers to use the bathroom and in the past employee's have sued employers that have refused them access to the bathroom. The courts ruled in there favour . Adults who go back to school are allowed to get up and leave whenever they need a drink or to use the toilet and they don't even need to ask for permission.
So, if adults are guaranteed the right to use the bathroom then why are kids in primary, high and six-form school denied that right EVERY DAY?
Now the main reason seems to be that teachers want to maintain control over you EVEN if that means controlling your BODY FUNCTIONS
Some teachers fear that if they let children out of class they would abuse this and mess around/wonder around school but .. Are these good enough reasons for not allowing to use the bathroom when your body decides it needs to eliminate waste?? Definitely NOT !! It can be a danger to your health
The most common health risk is that you could develop a urinary tract infection:
UTIs can affect different parts of your urinary tract, including your bladder (cystitis), urethra (urethritis) or kidneys (kidney infection).

The scale of current support proves this is a systemic issue requiring formal policy review. I am now compiling the documented instances of students being denied bathroom access to present as evidence during my upcoming meeting with the school board representatives.

I know from experience that this can lead to kidney damage, which can have major consequences for the rest of your life.
my teacher literally told me to just hold it for another hour when i was in so much pain i was crying. its not fair that we get treated like we aint human just cause we are students
“You should of went a brake or lunch!” Sorry miss/sir o I don’t choose when I need the toilet I would if I could but I can’t
We should have the right to go to the toilet at least 1 time a lesson we are in danger or a infection. We should have like a time limit of 5 minutes if we are over the limit that time were we emerge over the limit we should stay back that time
‘You should have gone at break or lunch.’ No Miss/Sir, I do apologise, but unfortunately I cannot control when I do or don’t need to use the facilities.

I agree ALOT with this orginization and think that it needs to be sorted out. #PeeAble
